My first attempt to layer paints; I went with the 54mm scale to make it easier...
Before
I used a figure from Tehnolog's “Fantasy Battles Paladins” set and another from Tehnolog's “Fantasy Battles Dwarf” set to create my player characters (yes, I play two) in my friend's campaign.
After
The paladin stands in for my cleric, J'on. The dwarf stands in for my fighter, Gurni. These are 54mm figures... I wasn't confident I could do the tight brushwork on a 28mm figure, so I really enjoyed the 54mm scale. These minis are the first time I used layering. And I need to practice more. But I was very happy with ow they turned out.
